Introduction

Modernism in our text is defined as stylistic innovations, its willingness to disrupt traditional syntax and form, to mix together modes or levels of writing that had often been kept separate, and to risk irregularity and experimentation in order to challenge the audience's preconceived notions of value and order.

The two pictures shown in class may be used here to explain the above definition. The first picture painted before the 0th century was brighter, colorful, and consisted of basic geometrical shapes like circles, and squares and the women seemed to be happy in their home. The picture signified life and there was the presence of the element of warmth.

In contrast, the second picture that was painted after the world war was in an urban setting of people waiting for the instruction from a pedestrian signal to cross the road. The people were painted in shades of gray; they had straight and emotionless faces, and looked more like the walking dead.

The Centers of Modernism

Modernism reached the United States in 11 in the form of the Armory Show and consisted of abstract paintings by not-so well-known American and European artists. The art was not accepted by a large section of the population and the press considered it deviant from cultural norms and an insult to good taste.

Artists in this era expressed freely what they felt, thought or imagined of a situation, incident or place and they challenged questions of form and structure of traditional works of art. Some artists continued to incorporate primitive material and attitudes in their work. While yet others had works the essence of which was an international perspective on cultural matters. Examples of this is cited in later sections of this study.

In spite of initially rejecting modernism, this concept soon took shape as a prevalent one. This was mainly because of America's historical and social forces. These forces include facts like the immigration of Europeans, Africans and people from various Asian countries residing in America for generations, industrial revolution and its impact on the lives of the working class, technological advancements, etc.

Contradictory Elements

Modernism contains several elements, each contradicting the other. It was democratic tilting against historical values and honored long established customs and laws. On the other hand in some forms it appeared to overthrow traditional values altogether. It was elitist, as the works of the artist did not always extend to ordinary men and women.

Literary Achievements

One of the areas of modernism is what is termed today as "women's liberation". This could include greater access to education or work, freedom from the cycle of pregnancy, childbirth and family rearing. These were the factors that once entrapped many poor and working women.

Writers like Edith Wharton created female characters with wider opportunities outside of traditional marriage, which proved totally misleading then. These characters where looked upon as deviant from cultural and social norms.

Furthermore, writers would once resort to writing about vivid environments but that was not enough for the readers who lived in the widespread urban areas. It was challenging for the writers to write in this new area, because of the complexity of the city life. But the writers took up this challenge.

Apart from works on dramatization of the plight of women and creation of a literature of the urban experience, artists like Hemingway, Wharton and Robert Frost continued works of the pastoral or rural spirit and that of regionalism and local color.

Modern Themes

America was a democratic country and had capitalist form of economy. But with the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in 117, socialism gained popularity in many parts of the world and also in America. Eugene Debs ran for president in 10 on a socialist ticket and won almost one million votes. It was in the 10's during the great depression when the people challenged America's traditional system of individualism with the new system of collectivism.

The passage of 1th Amendment in 10 giving women the right to vote was also yet another element of modernism. This amendment attributed to full equality of women and signified social experimentalism.

Prohibition of the production, sale, and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the 10- failed but nonetheless this was what people called a "noble experiment".

The stock-market crash of 1 and the Depression of the 10s had an impact on America's modernism. People migrated in new ways in search of jobs to big cities and literature too was influenced where we saw often a man with a buried past who made a survival at the edge of cities.

Modernism and the Self

With immigrants increasingly pouring into America in the 10's, many of who lived in cities, which was very dynamic due to advancements in various areas, realized how their lives were different as compared to their previous counterparts. The people felt alienated due to the fact that their primary objective was now to earn a living in complex money-driven commercial economy mainly due to industrialization.

Writers and poets like T.S. Eliot and Louise Bogan wrote on alienation, which was caused because of racial and sexual discrimination, social insecurity, isolation or even because of the loss of a part of one's own culture.

It is modernism that made the works of artists of that era a work of appreciation and recognition.

How to Avoid Telemarketing Scams in Business

Some vendors use unscrupulous telephone solicitations to sell their products. When you receive an unsolicited telephone call from a vendor, be very careful what information you provide them. They will try to trick you into giving them a verbal purchase contract.

Some common approaches include

"Hi, Steve, it's Bill from the warehouse, we're ready to ship that order, should it go to your attention?"

"Good morning, this is Yolanda, I'm calling to get the model number off your copier"

"I would like to send you a brand new, revolutionary, high yield toner cartridge for your evaluation"

"Hello David, I was having lunch with Rob yesterday and he said I should contact you to arrange shipment of the flux capacitors"

"My husband died yesterday, he owned a small business, and I need to sell some of his office supplies to pay for the funeral, my good friend, Mr. Leah Flanagan said you would be happy to help me out"

"Hey Jimbo, this is Puff Daddy from the computer supplies warehouse, I would like to send you out our new catalog and while I have you on the phone, let me tell you about a few specials we're having to celebrate our 0th hour in business. Blah, blah, blah, blah, By the way, Jimbo, why don't you give me your home address and I'll send you out a case of those Omaha Steaks, mmm mmmm good…….."

"Hi David, To thank you for your past business, I 'd like to send a combination clock/radio/shotgun to your house, all I ask is that you try……………"

"Howdy friend, how's the weather up there in Syracuse, NY? Y'all seen any snow yet? The reason I'm calling you son, is that I was hopin' you could help me out of a jam, our hauler done broke down on U.S. 81 right near your place and I got a load of ice melt just wastin' away, so have I got a deal for you……"

There are a million variations of the above scenarios and the number of commodities that they are trying to peddle increases regularly. The most common commodities include light bulbs, maintenance supplies, office supplies, computer supplies and printer supplies.

Some strategies to safely get off the phone are

"We don't make purchases over the phone, please send me a catalog"

"I'm not authorized to make purchases, please call the Purchasing Department"

"We only purchase from approved suppliers. If you send your latest financial statement to the Director of Purchasing, I'm sure he will consider adding you to the list"

"We have a long term contract for those products, it expires on January 15th……………..008"

"We only do business by purchase order, please call the Purchasing Department"

The longer you entertain these people on the telephone the more likely that you will say something that could be interpreted as a verbal contract. Sometimes just getting your last name will result in a shipment to our company to your attention. Keep the conversation professional and brief. Please see Sue Welch or myself if you have any questions.

In the play Antigone, by Sophocles, there are still many debates on who is the real tragic hero. Many would say that they believe that Antigone herself is the tragic hero of the play, after all the play doesn't only include her name, it is her name and she suffers through many traumatic events due to her attempt at honor. But in actuality, Creon is the tragic hero in the play of Antigone. In order to come to this conclusion one must first answer the question of "what is a tragic hero?" The definition of a tragic hero consists of 7 basic parts or steps. In the play Antigone, we find that Creon meets all of these criteria, making him the tragic hero.

The first step of a tragic hero is some act, which sets the tragic process in motion. Creon is the new king of Thebes, and he first asserts his power when he issues a law forbidding the burial of Antigone's brother, Polynices. Many would think that this would be the act which fulfils the first step, but in actuality the death of both brothers itself sets the tragic process in motion. Without the brothers killing each other there would be no reason for Creon to forbid Polynices' burial, so it is their death that is the first step of the pattern of a tragic hero.

However, Creon's forbidding Polynices' burial does have a step in the basic pattern. It is the second step where the tragic hero sets out to restore order. Creon believes that he is doing good by forbidding Polynices' burial. He thinks that Polynices was being selfish by killing his brother, especially when he was not fighting for his country, nor did he die for is country. " Eteocles, who fell fighting in defense of the city…is to be honored with burial and with all the rites due to the noble dead. The other-you know whom I mean- his brother Polynices, who came back from exile intending to burn and destroy his fatherland and the gods of his fatherland…he is to have no grave, no burial…it is forbidden." So Creon thought that by forbidding his proper burial he was giving Polynices a rightful and earned punishment, or in other words he was trying to restore order, which is the criterion of the second step.

College Essays on antigone

The third step is to suffer because you believe in what you're doing when others don't. Antigone, Ismene, Haemon, and even Chorus all speak up to Creon at sometime during the play to express their feelings on his reconsideration of Antigone's sentencing to death. This just adds to Creon's anger, which makes him lose his relationship with his son, and even with the city of Thebes. The people start to lose respect for him because he becomes such a power hungry ruler who cares about nothing but himself. "The people of Thebes! Since when do I take my orders from the people of Thebes?" By following what he believe in, he loses respect as a king, and even as a man.

The contrast of the hero's vision of the future and the actual outcome is the fourth step in basic pattern for a tragic hero. Creon, despite his bad choices, was trying to be a good ruler. His flaw was that his idea of a good ruler is an absolute ruler. Creon tried to take over Thebes and make it a better city, "I am determined that never, if I can help it, shall evil triumph over good." Ironically that is exactly what happened, and it is Creon who made it that way. I believe that it was that way because of his passion toward ruling and his need to be in power. This brings one to the fifth step of a tragic hero. This step is that when calamity occurs, the hero's real feelings are portrayed. This is true for Creon in the way that when Haemon tells his father how he feels about everything that Creon is doing, and how the people are against him, Creon basically outcasts Haemon. Creon tells Haemon that he is not a good son, and that he doesn't care if Haemon dies with Antigone. Thus fulfilling the fifth step.

When Creon loses his son, his wife, and the respect of the people he finally realizes that what he has done is wrong. He does not except his fate meekly, and this is the sixth step. " The sin, the sin of the erring soul drives hard unto death. Behold the slayer, the slain, the father, the son. O the curse of my stubborn will! Son, newly cut off in the newness of youth, dead for my fault, not yours." When Creon discovers his son dead, he cries out against himself for what he has done, and he suffers greatly for it.

The last step of one basic pattern for a tragic hero is the hero's understanding of his wrong doing through his suffering. Creon meets the criteria for this final step because the death of his wife and son bring him to it. When he looses everything he had, including the trust and respect of the people of Thebes he finally realizes his wrongs. But now it is too late, for ironically everything he tried to make good, has fallen apart because of his stubborn ways, and he knows it. Creon states at the end of the play, "Of happiness the crown and chiefest part is wisdom, and to hold the gods in awe. This is the law that, seeing the stricken heart of pride brought down, we learn when we are old."

Because of his realization of wrongs, Creon has successfully fulfilled all of the steps to become a tragic hero. Despite many beliefs that Antigone is the tragic hero in this play, and despite the fact that she suffers greatly throughout the play, she is not the tragic hero. Creon's stubbornness and need to be in power gave him the worst suffering of all. Not only did he lose everything of importance, but also he did it all without gaining any honor. Unfortunately Creon is the real tragic hero.

The issue of people's attitude being affected by situation is a controversial one. On one hand it is seen that adversity can mend an ordinary persons attitude. On the other hand history has shown that great people never succumbed to adverse situations. However, In the final analysis, I believe that people belonging to the general mass are vulnerable to situation surrounding.

The first reason for my belief is that it has been proven scientifically that it does happen. For example, In the study of human identical twins given different situation and surrounding had different attitudes altogether albeit being same internally(genetically).

Another reason for my belief is also another scientific finding that about 10%of our new generation suffering from stress related disorders which primarily affect the attitude towards life. Despite we being the same human beings, over the past few centuries, this rate has increased then ever. The reason for this is said to be the fast pace of change of today's life. This lends credence to my view.

Many of today's social problems of violence criminal activities and the new carnage agent, terrorism stem from people exposed to adverse situations/surroundings. For example, There are many instances where it has been found that children abused during there childhood resorted to violent activity in there future. Poverty and unemployment is cited the main cause of people in underdeveloped countries joining terrorist groups.

The power of enzymes

Methods and Materials

· 6 beakers, 00m1 ($15)

· spoons

· Soap, cut or grated into very fine pieces (6g for each experiment)

· Biological washing powder (6g for each experiment)

· lOOml measuring cylinder ($10)

· large beakers, 500m1 ($0)

· Cotton wool ($.50)

Procedures

Cut the sample of cotton wool and roll into 6 small bundles. Stain two bundles with soil, two with egg and two with used cooking oil. Do not stain too heavily, otherwise the cleansing effect would be difficult to observe. See diagram below.

Cut the sample of cotton wool and roll into 6 small bundles. Stain two bundles with soil, two with egg and two with used cooking oil. Do not stain too heavily, otherwise the cleansing effect would be difficult to observe.

Weigh 6g of the fine soap pieces in a 500ml beaker and add 00ml of water.

Stir to dissolve the soap. Measure l00ml of the soap solution into each of three

00ml beakers.

Weigh 6g of biological washing powder in a 500 ml beaker and add 00ml of water. Stir to dissolve. Some brands of washing powders might not dissolve readily in water, in such cases a dispersion of the washing powder in water is good enough for the experiment.

Measure 100 ml of the washing powder solution into each of the three 00ml beakers.

To each of the soap solutions, add one piece of the stained cotton either - one soil stained, one egg stained or one oil stained. Do the same for the washing powder solutions.

Examine the beakers at intervals of 5 minutes, up to half an hour. And then make one final examination at the end of 1 hour.

Some questions could be asked about this activity.

· From the results obtained, do biological washing powders have better cleansing power than soap?

· What type of enzyme or enzymes could be present in the brand of washing powder you are using?

Remarks

Use different types of washing powders or different types of stains, but only vary one factor at a time; e.g. if you compare one biological washing powder with another, test at the same temperature on the same type of stain on the same material.

Other types of stains like tomato sauce, lipsticks, grease and mangosteen skin juice may also be used.

For one of the materials that you have tried out in (a), compare the action of soap with that of the biological washing powder on stained material soaked for 15 minutes in water at the following temperatures

1. 5oC (cold water from tap)

. 45oC (warm water)

. 100oC (boiling water, CAREFUL!)

Does biological washing powder work well in boiling water? Why or why not?

What has this got to do with Biotechnology?

Enzymes are the main active ingredient in the washing powder. The main method of producing the enzymes is through the culture of microorganisms on a large scale under special conditions. Man is therefore making use of microorganisms to produce the desired products. Furthermore, man is also using the product of the microorganisms to perform a service. In this case, he is using enzymes to clean the stains. This is a valuable service!

A research problem analysis is probably the only thing our organization needs to perform in order to find out how the company can survive the recent economy depression. A little introduction about Lakeview Forest Resort would familiarize you with the organization.

Lakeview Forest Resort is a company which operates and manages several luxury cabins and lodges located within the City of Big Bear Lake Area, in the San Bernardino Mountains in State of California. The business was established about five years ago with luxury and quality in mind. The demand for better cabins and rooms was high, so the rates were much higher than the rest of the resorts in town.

From the start the business was great and the quality service was appreciated by the guests. The owners decided that an expansion was in order and the second resort was built a year later by the lake. The resort's guests were pleased and they didn't mind the high prices in exchange high quality service and luxury cabins. As a matter a fact the company had no advertisement except the word of mouth. The return businesses were almost 5% and people had to call at least a month before for a reservation.

By the start of Year 00 the businesses in Big Bear started to feel the downside of economy. Our organization was hurting by 50%.It was time to evaluate the problem and try to cope with the economy. The problem was the high prices. People were settling for minimum quality but inexpensive. The mangers have suggested that the prices needed to be reduced so people with lower budget can afford to stay with us as well.

A research is necessary to be performed. The research problem would be "what should our nightly rates be in comparison with our local competition of different type of quality in city of Big bear Lake?

To evaluate other companies who are compatible with our organization was a research by itself. As a result five companies were selected. The research should include the occupancy percentage rate during different seasons, the nightly rates being offered on different types of cabins/rooms, and if any additional packages (ski package or fishing boat packages) are being offered to their customers along with their room charges?

For measuring the central tendency calculating the "mean" of the nightly rates is necessary. The three possible outcomes were

1. To offer the "mean" rate which is calculated by adding of the five companies nightly rates (at the same time and season), divided by five.

. To offer the lowest nightly rate out there among the five chosen companies.

. To offer the highest nightly rate among the five chosen companies.

The benchmark that our organization could use to evaluate the progress to resolve the issue is comparing the occupancy rates with what we use to have before changing the rates. Comparing the profits after the costs would show the success or crash of the new changes also. Every week the company can observe the ups and downs for the occupancy rates. The company needs to know if it is profitable for them if they can offer the same quality service with much lower rates they are offering.

When examining the possible outcomes, which means collecting information and hard data to see if the solution works. The outcomes should be measurable, observable, and realistically achievable. (Research and evaluation 001)

The outline for our organization research problem as the text "Research and Evaluation for Business" has introduced is as follows

1. Problem Identification. Drop of occupancy rate within last 18 months.

. Statement of Desired Goal or out come. To bring up the occupancy rate to desire profit for the company.

. Research Evidence and hard data. The rate prices on the home and cabins collected from the five other companies.

4. Outcomes. To calculate the mean of the prices collected and use either

-The Mean number

-The lower number than the mean number

-The higher number than the mean number.

5. Identification of possible causes. Using the mean number will increase the

occupancy percentage rate as a result increases the revenue, which would

offset the normal daily expenses.

Using the lower number than the "mean", will also increase the occupancy percentage and the revenue, however it will attract different class of clients, whom they do not appreciate luxury accommodations and could easily

misuse the type of amenities available to them. This will increase the

expenses.

With the higher rate than the" mean" it could have not much effect than what the organizations already have.

6. The proposed solution. Our research conclusion was to select the "mean" number for the nightly rate.

The steps in business research help to find the right way or the correct solution to our problem of low occupancy. Reducing rates might increase the occupancy rate, and the company would benefit from the number of the customers. That would also bring the business and the return businesses that our organization is very accustom to. Without the collection of hard data and reports from the research for the problem, it is unclear whether the solution to this problem is reducing the rates or other researches are necessary to solve the problem.

Shakespeare's Othello is a play about the jealousy of one man, known as Iago. It is his jealousy that drives the force of the play. After learning about Iago, I believe that everyone experiences jealousy/envy in his or her life. Although, there isn't that much of difference between jealousy and envy, jealousy in general is experienced when something a person has is taken away or is in threatened by someone else. Whereas, envy in general is experienced when a person doesn't measure up to someone else or something a person wants that someone else have. Jealousy can happen because of fear, anger, hurt, betrayal, anxiety, agitation, sadness, paranoia, depression, loneliness, envy, coveting, feeling powerless, feeling inadequate, or feeling excluded. There have been several instances in my life in which I have been jealous. The first time I expressed a lot of jealousy was at age seven. I was jealous of my elder sister and younger brother, because they received a toy from my uncle and I didn't. Even though I felt excluded, I tried to hide my emotions by acting happy. One day I was so upset that I didn't want to hide my emotions and let out my anger by breaking my brother's toys. Futhermore, there is an emotion behind every jealous feeling that is much more significant. Behind jealousy there can be a deep fear that a person's needs will not be met. To unmask the jealousy one has to recognize those fears and unmet needs. Needless to say, jealousy is the start of something that leads to serious crime. Therefore, when we are jealousy of someone or their possessions then we might be tempted to commit a crime.

Why I wrote this book

I am not trying to make this book to be a 'writer'. I do not want a reputation and all of that. I do not want people to study my book and recognize the language features (if there is any)

I am writing it for a few reasons

Well I have a lot of spare time and have been thinking about it for a while…

The main inspiration is my mums diary which she has kept for some time, and I always think it will be a good thing for people to read when they are older. The nd main reason is because I think that it will be a good thing to look back on when I am older.

Matt musician

Well… music has gone back a long time in our family. My dads father who I never met played the violin, my sister played violin and piano, she reached one of the top levels but no longer plays much. My dad plays the guitar, self taught he can still play along to most songs by listening to them and quickly working out what key they are in. My brother also plays the guitar when he can and is also self taught. I first thought of learning the guitar in about standard 4 when I wanted an electric guitar. I wanted one all through my intermediate years until I realized I should be making the most of my opportunities and play the acoustic since we had a couple lying around the house. In form I took up lessons until we were in Christchurch once when I bought an electric guitar. I immediately thought I was the man and had more fun standing on my bed and playing unplugged than playing through the amp.

I soon found a teacher through a friend and have been learning with him ever since.

When people ask me how long I've been playing, I tell them 5 years. It is unfortunate that I am not very good.

Toilet humour

Well.. what can I say. Toilet humour is funny, the funniest thing ever. I cannot believe I am writing this but I am well known as one of the best farters around.

I just cannot see how some people do not find toilet humour funny. Sure its disgusting. Everytime you fart you are spewing poo particles out but nothing is funnier than a big sloppy fart in somebodys face. I used to be obbseessed with farting. This was shown by my rd form speech on flatulence where at the start I waited for silence before letting rip.

I have farted in some very awkward situations. Nothing is better for lighting up the worst of situations than a big fart.

The worst situation I've ever been in was when I was inside the hosue on a Friday afternoon and our family was about to go to our batch for the weekend.

Next thing you know it I am out the front of the nextdoor neighbours house watching my neighbour have a stroke. It was horrible. Ambulance was on the way, however he could not stand up. When the ambulance showed up the officers helped the poor man get to his feet. He struggled and nearly collapsed. He then began to throw up all over the place. I was shocked as I had never seen this soprt of thing before and there it was happening right in front of my eyes. The next thing I hear is a fart. Then another, then another.

I could not help myself but laugh. I bit the inside of my lip the hardest its ever been bitten and turned the other way. Luckily noone noticed. Here was a man possibly about to die and I was laughing because those were the best farts I had ever heard.

Marijuana is an illegal drug, which comes from the hemp plant, which can readily be grown on fields across the nation and was cultivated heavily in the colonial period. After 10 years of being legal, commissioner of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and the author of Marijuana Assassin of Youth (Goldman 88) Harry J. Anslingler brought the possible problems of marijuana into the public eye. In his book Anslinger portrayed images of Mexican and Negro criminals, as well as young boys, who became killers while under the influence of marijuana. With added public pressure, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed into law the Marijuana Tax Act of 17. This law made the use and dale of marijuana federal offenses. At this point marijuana was removed from the public eye, and heavy users included poor Negroes, migrant Mexicans, and Jazz Musicians (Himmelstein ).

Currently, drugs remain high on the lists of concerns of Americans and are considered one of the major problems facing our country today. There are stories on the news about people being killed on the street just about every day over drugs. To many people drugs are only an inner-city problem, but in reality they affect all of us- the users and the non-users. Many people believe that there is nothing wrong with smoking the illegal substance of Marijuana (also known as Cannabis). Marijuana is illegal in the United States and should continue to be illegal, for several different reasons. The biggest reason this drug should remain illegal is because Marijuana is more dangerous than cigarette smoking (Hager 1). Another cause of Cannabis is that it causes serious brain and health damage. This illegal substance also is a lot more dangerous than alcohol.

The prime reason on why many citizens are opposed to legalizing marijuana is because it is known to be more hazardous than cigarette smoking. Two marijuana joints create more airway impairment than do an entire pack of cigarettes (Miner 44). One joint contains three times more tar than do cigarettes and is considered four times more dangerous (Courwright 54). It dramatically increases the pulse rate and blood pressure during use. If marijuana is legalized, many believe that lung cancer will increase as the amount of marijuana use increases (Miner 44). These are all valid arguments, but cigarette smoking is legal, a booming business, and causes the same exact problems. Therefore officials do not know what to consider.

Another legitimate point that determines the legalization of pot is that it causes brain damage as well as it being health problems. The average marijuana plant contains over 400 chemicals and when the plant is smoked of vaporized the heat produces many more. Receptors in the nerve cells of the brain receive these chemicals and the chemicals cause the nerve cell to change in some way. The chemical in marijuana that has the biggest impact on the brain is THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). THC receptors are abundant in the brain, but they are concentrated in certain areas. The most affected part of your brain is the part that processes memory.

The people who smoke marijuana often develop many health problems, they receive the same kinds of breathing that cigarette smokers have coughing and wheezing. They tend to have more chest colds than nonusers. They are also at greater risk of getting lung infections like pneumonia. Users also experience dry mouth and rapid heartbeat, up to forty times more per minute. This is most likely to cause heart attacks of heart failure.

The last and final reason that marijuana should remain illegal is because it is more effective than alcohol. Smoking pot has the same effects on the body, as does alcohol. They both cause a loss of coordination, and poor sense of balance and slower reaction times, a long with intoxication. Blood vessels in the eyes get bigger, causing the eyes to look red and watery. In a laboratory study at NIDA's Addiction Research Center in Baltimore that experimented alcohol's difficult effect, Dr. Heishman tested marijuana's effects on the workings of driving. Study subjects smoked a joint (a marijuana cigarette), waited 10 minutes, and then smoked another joint. Both joints contained 0, 1.8, or .6 percent THC. Twenty minutes after smoking, the subjects were given a standard sobriety test similar to a roadside sobriety test. The test showed that marijuana extensively impaired their ability to stand on one leg for 0 seconds or touch their finger to their nose. As the dose of THC increased, the subjects swayed more, raised their arms, and had to put their feet down in an attempt to retain their balance. Subjects also committed .5 times more mistakes when they attempted to touch their nose with their finger.

Marijuana can be very dangerous if used in a high dosage. It is known as a "gateway drug", meaning that it leads to bigger and serious street drugs. Though it does not cause the user to become physically dependent, it can cause them to become psychologically dependent. Its form of euphoria makes people feel better about themselves, as well as causing clumsiness and memory loss. Human bodies are not developed to handle the chemicals contained in a marijuana joint. This drug affects your body's health and brain, it is worse for you than smoking a cigarette and it has more of an effect than alcohol. No matter what anybody implies, marijuana is a very harmful substance. It should not be used by anyone.

The Invisible Man, by H.G. Wells, is composed of many small themes that combined to form two major themes in the novel. Some of the small themes are acting before thinking and denial of unexplainable events. It is based on the two major themes of science experiments gone wrong and the unawareness of society.

The most important theme in the novel was the experiment that Griffin, the invisible man, was working and it was not going exactly as planned. The way that the experiment went bad was not by accident; instead it was Griffin who had made the mistake of turning himself invisible. The reason that the invisible man had for becoming invisible was that he was suspected as to be a vive sectionalist and he did not want to be punished for it.

The reason for the final decision of becoming invisible was that Griffin thought there were many advantages. He finds out after becoming invisible that the whole thing was not thought through enough and being invisible had many more disadvantages than what he was expecting. This was an example of Griffin acting upon something before adding up all of the consequences of his actions. If he would have thought the process through Griffin would have, at least, made things invisible so he could use them and still be disguised. For instance he could have made some clothes invisible and even some common supplies that could have been handy along his travels.

Griffin did not realize how many disadvantages his invisibility had until it was too late. After becoming invisible Griffin realized that he could not sneak around people very easy and people still knew he was around even though they could not see him. The people could see his footprints and see him if he became dirty. Another thing that Griffin did not realize before his experiment back fired was that he could not eat if he wanted to stay invisible. The people around him could see the food inside his stomach, until his body absorbed it.

Essay help on Invisible Man

The experiment that Griffin went through was his own fault and also sealed his own luck. The major problem with his invisibility was that Griffin was not able to keep or have any friends. His only contact was after he was all bandaged up and looked as though he had been in a bad accident. Without any human contact or support Griffin was meant to become crazy. In the end chapters of the story it is understandable that Griffin has lost his mind and is totally insane.

Not wanton killing, but a judicious slaying. The point is, they know there is an Invisible Man as well as we know there is an Invisible Man. And that Invisible Man, Kemp, must now establish a Reign of Terror. (Pg. 114)

The earlier quote was taken as the invisible man was talking to Kemp about his plans of judicial killing. This proves that Griffin has gone completely insane and it is his way of getting back at the world for excluding him. He does not realize that if he had never made himself invisible nothing like this would be happening. Everything that has gone wrong was because of his experimentation with invisibility.

The second most important theme is societies lack of knowledge, contributed to the invisible mans luck. Society is always afraid of things that they do not understand or cannot explain. The reason they were so afraid of the invisible man was the fact that nobody could explain why he was invisible. The people of the town did not even give the man time to explain what had happened to him; everyone just started to chase him down. I believe that if the people would have been more open minded about his invisibility that the man might not have become crazy and killed in the end. Society cannot deal with things that cannot be explained as they are used to hearing them. There was uncertainty even after the man vanished and there were witnesses to it.

Uncertainty suddenly reared its head -- rather nervous uncertainty, not at all assured of its back, but uncertainty nevertheless. It is so much easier not to believe in an invisible man; and those who had actually seen him dissolve into air, or felt the strength of his arm, could be counted on the fingers of two hands.(Pg. 4)

The earlier quote shows how much ignorance society had in this little town of Iping. It proves that people will not even believe certain things if there is an devastating proof of the actual event.

The ignorance of the society also played an important part of the stupidity that the invisible man accentuated at the end of the novel. Since the invisible man was somewhat of a freak of nature or science the people just wanted it to be gone with. They did not want an explanation. They wanted the invisible man dead. After the people chased the invisible man out of the town he snapped and became totally crazy. This is when Griffin was going to go on his reign of terror and start killing judicially. The society could have prevented the whole disaster if they would have been more open and allowed for an explanation to be brought to their attention.

The story is based upon the two themes of science experiments gone wrong and the ignorance society has toward unexplainable things. Both of the themes contribute to the luck of the invisible man and pushed him over the edge. The invisible man was the person most responsible for his luck because he did not think of the consequences of his actions before he made himself invisible. Society was just offered a helping hand in the final outcome of Griffins invisibility.

Will discovery of new gold bring a "new lease of life"?

YES

People are going to have a renewed hope and confidence. They will have a lighter step and they won't have to worry so much about money. Johannesburg can be a better city with taller buildings and nicer houses. The people that were afraid that life was winding down have come up with another reason for living. They have renewed their "lease" with life. Men can have money to be proud of and a roof over their family's heads to be proud of. Women can put a meal on their table that they're proud of. Children can have toys and clothes that they're proud of. New gold will bring new life into Johannesburg.

NO

New gold will not bring new life. It will cause the white people to become more aggressive in their handling of their slaves and they will become greedier. All the black people will get is more labor and less satisfaction. The white people will be more brutal and less humane because they will be so focused and controlled by gold and money. The gold will have to be mined and the whites won't mine it. It will come off the sweat of the blacks and it will be brought out of those mines by the hands of the blacks but it won't be put into their hands. All new gold will bring is more sweat and emptier pockets.

TD-SCDMA (Time Division Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access), a new standard for G mobile networks. TD-SCDMA covers all application scenarios. It is designed to address all sizes of cells - from rural areas to hot spots and indoor applications in busy city centers. Since TD-SCDMA is based on the TDD principle and uses unpaired frequency bands, it offers optimum efficiency for both symmetric and asymmetric data services. Due to its small bandwidth of 1.6 MHz this technology allows flexible allocation of the spectrum.

The main challenge for G mobile systems is mastering both symmetric circuit switched services such as speech or video as well as increasing asymmetric packet switched services such as mobile Internet access. In answer to this challenge, TD-SCDMA combines two leading technologies designed as an advanced TDMA/TDD system with an adaptive CDMA component operating in synchronous mode, TD-SCDMA is well suited for all G applications.

In contrast to UTRA-FDD and UTRA-TDDHCR, the TD-SCDMA network elements (NE) can be connected directly to GSM infrastructure. Network operators are able to offer G voice, video and data services without expensive installation of completely new networks. Instead, selective insertion of TD-SCDMA NEs into existing GSM radio access network structures allows a gradual growth of G coverage alongside the upcoming market demand.

Real-time applications like voice and multimedia applications require minimum delay during transmission and the generated traffic is symmetric. For non real-time applications like e-mail, Internet and intranet access, timing constraints are more relaxed and the generated traffic is asymmetric. The near future will show a mix of real-time and non real-time services at the same user terminal. Based on the TDD principle with adaptive switching point between uplink and downlink, TD-SCDMA can perfectly handle symmetric as well as asymmetric traffic perfectly.

Online essay help on TD-SCDMA

Wireless Multi Media requires high data rates. TD-SCDMA offers sufficient bandwidth to handle the data traffic for future multimedia and Internet applications. TD-SCDMA is therefore optimally suited for mobile Internet and multimedia applications.

TD-SCDMA offers a smooth and seamless way of introducing G mobile networks and services. When TD-SCDMA base-stations are connected to an existing GSM system, the existing transmission links may be reused. The spectral efficiency of TD-SCDMA radio systems is to 5 times higher than that of GSM. Together with the flexibility for symmetric as well as asymmetric services and flexible data rates each single carrier is used very efficiently. This allows high traffic densities within each cell or a lower number of larger cells (when the traffic density is lower).

Combining a G air interface with a stable and established GSM infrastructure shortens time to market for G services. This speeds up implementation of new user applications and quickly makes mobile Internet a reality. With TD-SCDMA it is possible for operators to increase the capacity of existing GSM networks gradually with respect to user numbers and data throughput. At the same time the new radio components fit seamlessly into existing network operation and maintenance strategies.

Please note that this sample paper on TD-SCDMA is for your review only. In order to eliminate any of the plagiarism issues, it is highly recommended that you do not use it for you own writing purposes. In case you experience difficulties with writing a well structured and accurately composed paper on TD-SCDMA, we are here to assist you. Your persuasive essay on TD-SCDMA will be written from scratch, so you do not have to worry about its originality. Crowns Nadine Teo

My one desire as a child was to be a princess. Ridiculous, I know. I used to wear plastic gold tiaras and feather boas because to me, this meant I was powerful. This may come as a shock to you, as most would expect a reason like "pretty" would you not? Well not I, as a little girl I craved power, and in my opinion a crown symbolised it. I assumed Royalty would never be without their magnificent headwear - be it to bed or in the bath because in doing so the world would bow at your perfect feet. How wrong was I? Very.

In growing up I learned the grey truth that crowns and jewels don't really mean anything in the modern day (except maybe to a Miss World contestant more about that later.) The Royal Family are disrespected by so many of their nation that they hold almost no power over us at all and with all the bad publicity they recently received lately, it's a wonder that they bother to exist at all. Among all this however is the age-old desire to be a princess. Browse any clothes shop and you will see the title 'Princess' plastered all over tee-shirts, bags, door signs, badges and mobile phone covers why? Wearing this clich and somewhat ridiculous title does not change you from the red blooded lesser mortal that you are.

Why is it that even today women always seem to want to associate themselves with royalty? If the lovely princes William and Harry and busy then fear not! Simply attach the aforementioned crown or tiara to ones head and one will look undoubtedly more glamorous. Take a glance at the Chloe and Galliano winter fashion displays. Princess "wannabes" (to put it crudely) are gliding and glittering down the Paris and Milan catwalks with a bejewelled masterpiece pinned mercilessly to their (other) crowning glory. Perhaps the Royal Family did not inspire this at all. Maybe the modern day designers drew it from dare one suggest it the annual Miss World contest.

I am often baffled seeing the dressed up, 'Barbie' type women parading themselves in front of a panel of in want of a better word - 'judges'. Their heart warming speeches which they recite, eyelashes all a flutter, and tell us that they pray consistently for a more peaceful world which are beautiful, but are let down by the artificiality of the speaker. I find the ceremony not only dated and bordering on the barbaric, but degrading to women and real princesses alike. Let us take time to think about what these contests actually involve. A pretty face from each country is worked on much the same as a painting, for nine hours until she looks beautiful, then walks in front of an audience looking beautiful, and makes a few speeches on the way. Already I can see serious faults. Firstly, many of these young girls have degrees in law, medicine, physics every colour of intelligence under the rainbow of life - yet they spend their best years painting their nails, trying to fulfil a life long dream. Secondly, in the modern world we are told constantly that looks do not matter, yet these stages like cattle markets are stocked with unnaturally thin women, who together look like a beautiful work of art. Now that I am a little older and wiser I realise that this is not what one is expected to look like, but not all girls realise that. Some think that the bony almost skeletal models are epitomes of femininity. This is absolutely inaccurate. Femininity is often mistaken for appearance, but that is not what it is about. The prettiest dress and the longest eyelashes do not make you more 'woman' that any other. Being comfortable with yourself plays a huge part, as does being true to yourself. How many people not even just women but people can actually say they have achieved this? No one I know. There is always a little imperfection, often only visible to the person looking in the mirror. It nags and the back of your mind, "your hips are out of proportion"; "Your nose could be straighter". Does this sound familiar to you? It does to me, whether I have said it myself or overheard other people. Why are all these criticisms about what is only skin deep? Do we truly believe that having these tiny "flaws" corrected we would be happier people? If so, what does that say about the person? To "correct" your body costs thousands of pounds anyway, which brings me on to my final point. The cost of cosmetic surgery is affordable only to the reasonably wealthy, which leads one to ponder what if looks (be they natural or otherwise) actually mean nothing at all? Or at least they only mean as much as one can spend on make up, pills and surgery. Money is at the root of all of this and at the core of not only appearances, but power too. It makes the difference between the waiter calling you 'sir' and the same person not giving you a second glance. Wealthy people have a power over everyone to a certain extent. If a person has money people will respect that person and do as he/she so wishes. This is probably the easiest way to gain power, you do not need to be anyone in particular, but to wear the "right" labels and drive a fast car it is true! Think of the changes to the world you could make with enough money, not to mention the changes you could make to yourself.

When I grow up I am almost certain I will be rich. I will do all the things which right now I find despicable, not caring what I have to do (or if needs be sacrifice.) I will succeed, why? I still crave power.

This philosophy makes the world a better place and compels us to strive for excellence in whatever profession in which we may work.

My dad?s 187 Macintosh SE was the first computer that I ever used. Since then, I have used Macs almost exclusively and have a great interest in them. When I was younger I would convince my parents to take me to Barnes & Noble to buy books about the history of Apple Computer and the people who brought the company to life. The co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, struck me as a man of true innovation.

Steve Jobs?s creative thought process has made a particularly strong and lasting impression on me. He has the ability to assess situations to find better, alternative solutions to problems. He also assesses existing technology to determine ways to simplify it for the use of an average person. This ability is manifested in the creation of the easy-to-use Macintosh.

Dear Judges,

College papers on What my father means to me

My name is Jean Louise Finch, but people around the town call me Scout. I hear that

your paper is having a Father of the Year Contest. You say you want to know who the father of the year is of our town, well thats simple my pa Mr. Atticus Finch is the only man who can

hold that title.

My daddy, Mr. Atticus Finch is the calmest person I know. I remember one time when I

was having problems with my teacher, Miss Caroline Fisher. She was upset that I already knew

how to read, and she demanded that my father stopped teaching me. I was so upset that I decided

to drop out of school, and when I told Atticus about my decision, he didnt flip out, he was very

calm, and talked me into changing my mind. Another incident was when a lynch mob went

downto the jail to get Tom Robinson, and when they got there, Atticus was sitting in his chair

reading his newspaper in front of the jail house. They told Atticus to move out the way, he kindly

got up out his chair folded his newspaper and said I think you all should go home. He was also

calm when Mr. Bob Ewell spat in his face, cause he had taken Tom Robinsons case and defended

him well in court. My daddy didnt spit back, punch or kick Mr. Ewell, he just walked away and

said, I wish Bob Ewell wouldnt chew tobacco.

My daddy is the nicest man in Maycomb County. He always had nice words to say to

people. He did kind things for everyone. My daddy Atticus Finch respected everyone, and

treated everyone the way he wanted to be treated. For example when ever me and my brother

would pass Mrs. Duboses house going to town, she would always make smart remarks toward

us, saying that I should wear a dress or, that its a shame that our father hadnt remarried and

found someone to take care of us. She would also call my daddy a nigger lover. This upset my

brother Jem and I. My daddy had sensed that it did and he said Easy does it son. Shes an old

lady and shes ill. You just got to hold your head up high and be a gentleman. One afternoon

when we walked by her house, Atticus sweep of his hat, waved gallantly to her and said, Good

evening, Mrs. Dubose! You look like a picture today. He then told her the courthouse news and

said he hoped with all his heart that she would have a good day tomorrow. My daddy would say

all those nice things to her knowing she doesnt speak so kindly of him. Now if that was me, I

wouldnt have been so nice. I would have her told. Wouldnt you?

The thing that really suprises me about my daddy is hes not stuch up on being rich. Whe

ever he represents someone who cant pay him he just tells them not to worry about it. Like when

my daddy defended Mr. Cunningham and won, but Mr. Cunningham couldnt repay my daddy

with cash, so Atticus let him pay with harvest, fruits and vegetables. There arent many people I

know who would allow him to do that. So this is what makes my daddy Father of the Year, please nominate him.

Yours Truely,

This was a very difficult assignment for me because I didn't know exactly what I could leave behind to offer to others and future generations. I was contemplating talking about my terrific experiences with the handicapped or meeting so many different types of people in my life, I finally decided that I want to be remembered as a loving, genuinely kind, and honest person. All of the traits that I hope that people see in me I have because of what I have experienced in life due to my family members and my relationships with my friends.

The reason that I chose to do my project about the relationships I have with my family and friends is due to the fact that without them I would not be the same person today. My family has gone through many rough spots but we always get through are struggles because we are very supportive of each other. I have become a supportive person because of the issues that I have dealt with in my life. I never thought that families can grow without marriages, births, deaths, or anything like that but they can. I have learned so much about life from my sister's boyfriend and his daughter. Bryon is not my sister's boyfriend he is my brother and Alana is not his daughter but my niece that I cherish and have experienced so many new things with. I have matured the most when they have been in my life and experienced so much with them. I love them dearly. I met my boyfriend three years ago when my parents got divorced and I moved in with my Mom, next door to Mike. We were barely even friends in the beginning and now we are inseparable and his family is a huge part of mine

The Lady with the Pet Dog

While the topics of love lost and hope reborn are common themes in literature, Anton Chekhov and Joyce Carol Oates tell two unconventional tales of love lost, and then born again in their versions of "The Lady with the Pet Dog". Reaching across time, culture and two continents, Chekhov and Oates tell tales of hidden love that reach deep into the lives, fears and hopes of married men and women who struggle to reach beyond their unfulfilling and loveless marriages to find love, hope and acceptance from others.

In Chekhov's version, we read the story of Dmitry Gurov, a middle-aged married man who meets young Anna Sergeyevna, while both are vacationing alone in the 1th century Russian resort town of Yalta. Oates updates this tale with her version, telling the story of Anna and a man only identified as "the stranger" who meet in modern-day Nantucket, Massachusetts.

Chekhov's version is straightforward, proceeding from the beginning, where Dmitry and Anna meet and follows as their relationship grows. However, Oates writes a more roundabout version, starting in the middle of the affair, and then coming back to the beginning, and then back to the present, forcing the reader must follow the trail of events more closely in Oates' story. In spite of the time and cultural differences between the two versions, a similar pattern of events reveals itself.

Finding they have married women they feel are less "worldly" and educated than they are, the men in both stories have found themselves in unhappy marriages, where they become unable to relate to their spouses and grow apart from them. The "stranger" in Oates' version tells how his wife had inherited a classic painting, only to want to "touch it up a little". He also views his wife as a "neurotic" woman who uses his children against him. Dmitry considers his wife "of limited intelligence, narrow-minded and dowdy" and Chekhov describes her as one who "read a great deal", but "used simplified spelling in her letters".

An unhappy marriage, coupled with a long history of affairs gone badly, has soured Dmitry's outlook on women. From his experiences, he has come to hold a low opinion of women, calling them "the inferior race". In spite of these bad experiences and the negative opinions of women that have resulted from them, Dmitry continues to pursue more extramarital affairs, finding he is able to communicate with most women more freely than his own wife or other men he knows. Even when he meets Anna Sergeyevna, he remarks to himself how "There's something pathetic about her". Similarly, long years in a bad marriage have disillusioned Anna, the main character in Oates' story, who confesses that her husband and her parents "were all people I believed in, but it turned out all wrong".

In both stories, the Annas find themselves trapped in marriages to husbands who have successful careers that allow them to provide financial security for their wives, but who take little interest in their personal well beings. In return, neither of the Annas takes much interest in their husbands' careers. In Oates' version, Anna's husband is described a hard-working businessman who spends a lot of time working at his plant, to the point of falling asleep at the table at home. While he talks at length about his job, his wife often pays little attention to what he says. Anna Sergeyevna isn't even sure exactly what her husband does for a living, except to say that he "was a member of a Government Board or served on a Zemstvo Council".

Both Annas are confronted with feelings of guilt about their affairs, but also hold feelings of guilt for having to keep appearances to maintain their unhappy marriages. Chekhov's Anna describes herself to Dmitry as "a bad, low woman", who confesses, "I despise myself". Oates' Anna is described as "noiseless and convincing, like a dancer performing certain steps" who laments "this is fate … to be here and not there, to be one person and not another". Seeking to relieve her internal conflicts over an affair that she does not want to end, she wishes that "one of them would die" and even experiments at cutting herself, hoping to find the courage to inflict enough of a wound to kill herself.

In time, all four secret lovers overcome their feelings of disappointment, self-loathing and fear to find love and happiness in each other. Oates' Anna overcomes her suicidal desires, finally embracing her lover as "her truest lover, her destiny", while Chekhov's Anna and Dmitry secret relationship grew to the point where they "loved each other as people do who are very close and intimate".

In both versions of "The Lady with the Pet Dog", Anton Chekhov and Joyce Carol Oates write of people who have lost love and hope in their lives. Their characters struggle to overcome their feelings of fear, guilt, pessimism, self-loathing and indifference to reach out to each other and escape their unhappy marriages. These stories reach across time, distance and culture to tell tales of people who, find similar, yet unconventional, paths to finding new hope and love in their lives.

Before we start asking what are the advantages of smoking, we should ask ourselves why do people have the same common interests of smoking? We all know smoking is bad for your lungs, and many other reasons. So why even bother? Is it because it makes you cool? Or perhaps you smoke because everyone you know of does it? There are lots of reasons for you to give yourself an opportunity to smoke, and it doesn¡¦t matter what reason you give yourself, but you have decided if you want to smoke! That¡¦s fine with me, because I am not here to convince you not to smoke, and not just them I am here to tell you what are the positive things about smoking. Does smoking make you health? NO! Does smoking make you grow taller? NO. Then what the heck are the advantages that you can fine in your daily smoking?

Many people say that smoking can make you relax when you are pissed off at something. One day you just had a fight with your best friend and perhaps you can go out side and light a cigarette and calms you down with your anger. Does it really work? Sure it does! Because it¡¦s all in your mind. You think the cigarette can make you feel better, you believe that cigarette will help you. And you also believe that cigarettes is what you need when you aren¡¦t all pissed of, and what to see no one; that¡¦s when are cigarette will come in all those, so you went outside and have a light of cigarette, and you find yourself feeling much better after you come back in. Why? Because, again, it¡¦s all in your head. Does smoking really make you feel good? No, but for lots people it does, so if you have nothing else to make yourselves relax or calm try a cigarette!

As we know from the past years, we learn that nd hand-smoke is worse than 1st hand-smoke That which means, a non-smoker went up to a person who is smoking, for the person who doesn¡¦t smoke has breath in more unhealthy air into their lungs than the person who is smoking, Because the non-smoker is breathing in the unhealthy air after from the smoker¡¦s mouth. So therefore, if you don¡¦t want to be breathing nd hand-smoker (because it¡¦s worse than 1st hand ¡Vsmoker) you can try to become a smoker, so that you don¡¦t have to be come a nd hand-smoker. Not good for your body, but better than nd-smoker.

Most teenager smokers, smoke because they think smoking is ¡§kool¡¨ and maybe perhaps that¡¦s the way they think they can trick more girls. I personally, don¡¦t think so. I ask myself the same question before too. Do I really need to get a hot girlfriend by smoking? No, right? Wrong! Because I am here to tell you that, you can get a lot of hot bitches (no offence here) out there if you smoke. But it¡¦s really depending on whether what kind of girls you like? Some people like hot, sexy girls that is really out going. And in some case, to get those kinds of girls, you first have to have the hobbit of ¡Vsmoking. Again, for some of you; to smoke, it¡¦s just to look cool. So you are deciding whether you should smoke or not. And you decided you want to look cool. So you did it. And so you get what you think you want-girls.

Many of you want to grow up and get married, raise a family and live happily ever after. A teenager wants to be adults. They can¡¦t wait. Therefore, if smoking is linked to the adult thing. Then most teenagers perhaps decided to smoke because they so went to grow up and becoming an adult. And sure being an adult is very important to teenagers. What most parents are adults? And what adult¡¦s do, teenager does them to try to make them look like adults too. So teenagers crave to be adults, to take their place in society and to a full adult member of the tribe. The real reason kids smoke to be more adult is because rebelling is the sign of being an adult. Adults makes their own choose, children have to do what their parent tell them to do. Parents tell children not to smoke. But teenagers smoke to prove they have the authority to make their own choices. So, if you want to be more adult in this world-you can try smoking.

I am sure there is a lot more advantage of smoking. And I hop after you reading this message; you realize that not smoking is always bad. There are still positive things to it. And because z is running out the room, so I have to stop have. And at last I wanna say that, ¡§When you make your own decisions. You take the responsibility of deciding your own future, if you make yourself feel matter when you are about to pick up a fight with someone you are going to have a better future than if you make a bad decisions, such as maybe you decided not to smoke, and maybe you¡¦ll lose your tamper one day and pick up a fight with some one because you didn¡¦t have the tiny light of cigarette! So, you are what you choose to be, so choose it wisely.¡¨ So, ask yourself, are you a smoker? If not? What are you waiting for? Just like one of my summer school teacher said when I was small, he said that?¡¨ If you don¡¦t want fats in your body, why do you want fats in your writing? Well, and now I am saying that, ¡§If you don¡¦t want fats in your body, why don¡¦t you get smoking so you can loose all your fats? Well, perhaps! Anything and everything is an advantage of smoking, it¡¦s all in your head. Smoking, not smoking, there are no rights or wrongs, Relax, and choose what you want to choose, and choose it wisely.
